Frequently Asked Questions
Does it actually disappear under a jacket, or is that just marketing?
Under a structured blazer, a coat, or a zip-up sport jacket: it disappears completely. Under a fitted shirt on its own, you’ll see a slight profile, the way you’d see any object against the body. Simple rule: if the garment has any structure, the bag is invisible. If it’s thin fabric worn next to skin, no but that’s not the use case it was designed for.
I’m slim / I’m heavyset. Will it still fit me?
Yes. The strap adjusts from 70 to 130 cm (27.5–51 in), covering frames from about 45 kg (100 lb) to over 120 kg (265 lb). The bag’s flat profile doesn’t change based on your size, it’s the strap that adapts to you, not the other way around. The only case where we’d suggest writing us before ordering is if you're shorter than 150 cm (4'11") the proportions might not be ideal.
Can I wash it if it gets dirty?
Yes, but not in the washing machine. Damp cloth + mild soap on the exterior, air-dry away from direct heat sources. The nylon interior cleans the same way. Avoid alcohol, solvents, and harsh products: they permanently damage the exterior finish. With proper care, the bag keeps its original look throughout its service life.
It looks a little “feminine” / a little “masculine” to me. Can I really wear it?
It’s unisex by construction, not by marketing. The proportions (27.5 × 15.5 cm / 10.8 × 6.1 in) sit in a neutral zone: smaller than a classic women’s bag, softer than a tactical sling. The color does the rest, Onyx and Whiskey read more masculine, Dusty Rose and Crimson more feminine, Ranger Green is the most ambiguous of the five.
Does an iPhone Pro Max really fit with a case on?
Yes, even with a thick case like an OtterBox or MagSafe Wallet. The vertical compartment is sized for a Pro Max plus 2 mm of tolerance. If you use a particularly bulky case (like a rugged case with a lanyard), the phone fits but the carry won’t be perfectly flat. For 98% of users, this isn’t an issue.
How long before wear starts showing on the vegan leather?
The premium vegan leather we use stands up to seatbelt friction, light rain, and daily contact with clothing. Visible wear marks start appearing after about 18–24 months of heavy use, mostly along the zipper edges. It’s not real leather, so it won’t develop a patina: it ages by staying uniform. If you want an object that visibly “tells a story” over time, real leather is a better choice (and costs 4–5 times as much).
Is it rainproof?
It’s water-repellent, not waterproof. Light rain or a brief shower won’t damage it or wet the contents. In a prolonged downpour, water can get in through the zippers, not through the fabric. If you live in a very rainy climate and wear it uncovered every day, we recommend keeping it under a jacket (which is exactly what it’s designed for).
If the recipient doesn’t like the gift, can I exchange it?
Yes. You have 30 days from purchase to open a return, even if the packaging has been opened and the product tried on (not damaged). If you bought it as a birthday or anniversary gift a few weeks in advance, the 30 days start from the delivery date, so you have real time, even if the gift gets unwrapped a month later.
How many days to delivery in Australia and Canada?
Australia: 5-8 business days after shipping, with 78% of orders delivered within 4 days. Canada: 5-8 business days, with longer times for remote areas (Yukon, Nunavut, Northern Saskatchewan). Orders are processed within 24–48 hours of payment confirmation. If you need it by a specific date (birthday, trip), write us before ordering: we can prioritize your shipment at no extra cost.
Why should I choose you over a similar product for $15 on Amazon?
Honest answer: If price is the only thing that matters, there are cheaper options. But for three things you won't find elsewhere: denser vegan leather (400 g/m² vs. the typical 180–220), reinforced zippers, and human customer service, our price reflects exactly that difference. If the bag breaks in the first 30 days we send you a new one, we don’t open a dispute with you. You’re buying a relationship with a brand, not just an object, and the price reflects exactly that difference.
